If you could control how retailers know you beyond what you buy, you could leverage that information against future purchases, potentially saving money in the process. I had the opportunity to speak with Mark Edward Roberts and Jennifer Mathe of Leverage about how they help mediate a win-win-win between retailers, consumers and their website, LeverageCard.com.
After briefly commenting on the beautiful California sunshine, we talked about how it is actually more important now than ever when scrimping and saving in a down economy with consolidating our plastic. Mark mentioned 15 companies this year alone which have gone bankrupt but some loyalty points were saved using Leverage’s program. A preview of their new website is given, which is to launch later this year. Finally, we hear some sage advice from Jennifer about how much money to raise in your own startup (hint: 2x what you had thought originally) and how to weather the storm as an entrepreneur.
Stickam has released some great new products these past few months and also have done some awesome new partnership deals *wink-wink*. We bring you Jake Gold (CTO) and Steven Fruchter (CEO) of Stickam to tell you a little about the new products and how you can make some money by using Stickam.
Congratulations on Average Betty's recent success of being Webcastr's channel of the week! Before Average Betty made it to the big time, she took sometime out with us and gave us a lowdown of what Average Bettery is all about. A little description on the site I liked:
"Average Betty does for home n' cooking what punk did for rock n' roll: She cuts the length and cranks the volume! But you don't need a mohawk to enjoy Average Betty's culinary comedy."

The platform provides the community with the ability to search and navigate a news event by location and category, to share and to have a discussion around it.
Search Engine World is a service to the web site administrator community. They are here for WebmasterWorld members to discuss the process of doing business on the internet. Running a website takes a great deal of knowledge. The design, coding, maintenance, promotion, marketing, and management of a website is almost an impossible task for one person alone without extensive training. Search Engine World is here as a forum for the members to share and gain knowledge in operating and promoting a website. Think of them as part of your extended site development and process team.
We interview Vanessa Zamora and discuss with her the trends coming out of new media along with the ease of involvement with these new trends. Vanessa also turns the mic on Amanda Coolong and she gives you some info of what we are all about.
