Last week, I was able speak with Fitbit CEO James Park on everything from how the idea from the company got started (James was an early Wii Sports adopter) to privacy, 2.4Ghz wireless radio, accelerometer chips and bay stations. Finally, James mentioned how Fitness Trainers are interested in the API and James gives good advice on weathering the economic storm.

The interview is a little over 10 minutes long and is a good listen, even if you know nothing about fitness. James promised a follow-up in Q1 after Fitbit launches. In the meantime, we'll just have to start counting calories right after Thanksgiving...

Tweegee is a Web Portal for Tweens ages 7-15, that offers a complete web 2.0 experience. Allowing them to create their own personal web sites, have web based email and even start their own blogs. With Tweegee Tweens can be safe and integrated with the tools and knowledge of the different web utilities that we use everyday.

Allowing the children to embrace the internet and all of its web 2.0 activities in a safe environment will hopefully teach them proper net-behavior in their adult life.
