Written by Efren Toscano

Google Nexus OneTechZulu gets a hands on with the Google Nexus One Phone during CES.  I have to admit, it is quite a sexy looking device.  All those Droid users out there might not make the switch if you like the keyboard because the Nexus One is all touch.  Also, many BlackBerry users still may not find it their cup of tea as well.  The Nexus comes sporting the Android 2.1 software.   The 2.1 firmware version of the Android operating system adds a few aesthetic changes such as "Live Wallpapers" which are anim…

Despite holding a press conference that was more "look what we've done lately" than "look what we're going to do," Microsoft has made some cool announcements at CES regarding video games. We caught up with a Microsoft rep who took us through the Xbox Game Room which will be released this spring with more than 30 games like Centipede and Asteroids. If you're looking for retro games without hi-def modifications, look no further. Another Microsoft rep also showed us the demo for Toy Soldiers, and …

In a little hole-in-the-wall spot in Central Hall, we found a thirty-point infrared multi-touch system developed by the Korean Institute of Technology (KIST). The system uses two black bars which bounce infrared light and thereby detect movement. The project was funded by the South Korean government and is looking for companies to license the technology.

The Blackberry Presenter was announce recently by Research in Motion and adds the necessary hook-ups to the Blackberry for connecting with a projector.

It runs on 4 AAs.     Next, the Sony Dash. Not due out for several months, the Dash is a do-almost-everything widg…

Popular Twitter client TweetDeck recently launched a List directory featured extensively on the site's home page. Unlike competing sites that rank lists solely by number of followers, TweetDeck lets you vote lists up or down, add comments to them, and get recommendations based on your profile. It also features a handy feed of all the new lists being created on Twitter. TechZulu caught up with TweetDeck Founder Iain Dodsworth during the LeWeb conference with the Traveling Geeks. According to Dod…
