A very interesting company that came out of TechCrunch 50 was Hangout. They are trying to bring your offline room into the online world by giving you the ability to create all of your funiture, wallpaper, etc. in this virtual world. A few things they have planned interms of monetization is through brand influence. Hangout allows you to buy most of the items you have in your room through virtual currency and trick out your online space, however, if you are inclined to want to buy a set of SkullCandy headphones through Hangout they allow you to do so as well.

Here we have Pano Anthos CEO of Hangout to expand and give you some insight on what they have planned for the future and how you can starting creating your own virtual space.
