IOGEAR's New Gadgets For The Home And Auto
Retail & Consumers
Written by Efren Toscano

IOGEAR had a slew of tech goodness during CES.  The first thing that caught my eye was the wireless HD streaming kit.  The picture quality did seem really awesome however it was only about five feet away from the television and there were no walls or anything like that to interfere with the signal.  Will do a full review of this product once we get our hands on one.  The HD Kit isn't available until March but will cost you a pretty penny at $899.95.

Another wireless goodie was their multimedia keyboard with laser trackball and scroll wheel.  This thing was made for you to kick back on the couch and surf the web on your HD TV.  It is available now and will run you $99.95 retail or you can swipe this for half the price on Amazon for around $50.

They also were showcasing a prototype USB 3.0 PCI Express Card.  According to Joseph from IOGEAR this USB 3.0 Card will be able to transfer up to 5Gbps of data!  That is ten times faster compared to a USB 2.0 connection, also it does allow you to use your USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.  This still is not going to be on the market for some time.

And Last but not least solar charging car bluetooth speakerphone.  When you first get this device you need to charge it for 4 hours then you never need to charge it again.  It sticks to your windshield and charges as you drive.  There's multi-point connection, enabling you to switch between two phones. There's echo cancellation and noise reduction.  On full charge it will give you 11 to 13 hours' continuous talk time.  This is available now for $69.95 retail or can be bought through Amazon for around $50.

Checkout the interview with Joseph below as he explains and gives you a quick run through of each product.
