Mike presented on two new exciting languages to the .NET tool box, IronPython and IronRuby. Both IronPython and IronRuby are dynamic languages that can be leveraged by .NET developers to produce applications that perform at speeds that greatly surpass their predecessors. On top of the speed benefits, both IronPython and IronRuby are open source and can be run through Silverlight. If used with the open source adaptation of Silverlight, Moonlight, both IronPython and IronRuby can be used in a Linux environment.
