LOS ANGELES, CA (October 19, 2009) - Tubefilter, Inc. (www.tubefilterinc.com), the leading online digital entertainment media company for the Web Television industry, announced today that it has agreed to acquire Tilzy.TV LLC (www.tilzy.tv), a top Web TV entertainment reviews, news and events business. The acquisition combines a popular source of online information and reviews with Tubefilter, Inc., which owns Tubefilter News (www.tubefilter.tv), the leading Web TV industry news site. Tilzy.TV’s co-founders will join the Tubefilter, Inc. executive team effective immediately and will continue to be based in New York. The terms of the deal are undisclosed.

As part of the transition, founders from both companies will take on new roles in key senior management positions. Tubefilter co-founder, Brady Brim-DeForest, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Tubefilter, Inc. As a successful technologist and entrepreneur, Brim-DeForest brings critical software development, management, and marketing experience to the company. Tilzy.TV co-founders Jamison Tilsner and Joshua Cohen will join the company’s management team as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer, respectively. Tubefilter co-founder Drew Baldwin will serve as Senior Vice President, Product and co-founder Marc Hustvedt will serve as Senior Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of Tubefilter News.
