How Fitbit are you?

Last week, I was able speak with Fitbit CEO James Park on everything from how the idea from the company got started (James was an early Wii Sports adopter) to privacy, 2.4Ghz wireless radio, accelerometer chips and bay stations. Finally, James mentioned how Fitness Trainers are interested in the API and James gives good advice on weathering the economic storm.

The interview is a little over 10 minutes long and is a good listen, even if you know nothing about fitness. James promised a follow-up in Q1 after Fitbit launches. In the meantime, we’ll just have to start counting calories right after Thanksgiving…
