Financing A Startup Part 2

Last night we had a completely sold out event filled with startups, entrepreneurs, angles, and VC’s.  The panel gave some amazing advice, tips, personal stories and wisdom they have learned over the years after being embedded in the startup community.

Running on empty can only take you so far.  Eventually your startup needs to begin churning in some revenue, get acquired, or both would be ideal.  As the saying goes “It takes money to make money.” However, where does that financing come from for your startup?  Savings, Friends/Family, Angel, VC?  Most businesses require some sort of initial capital for things like marketing, PR, programmers, etc.
