For those who may think Las Vegas is just the home of Zappos, Conferences, and day/night entertainment, well you are right. However, there is a whole new breed of entrepreneurs and startups starting to emerge from the #VegasTech scene. TechZulu had the honor of being invited out to the Tracky Launch event last week. Tracky is an all new startup based out of Las Vegas focusing on social collaboration. The platform organizes users’ personal and business lives in an environment designed for thought partnering. The technology lets users manage and enrich their varying daily tasks by integrating elements from social media and project management. Tracky combines a robust task manager with collaborative tools like cloud-based file sharing, shared calendars and online chat.
Those in attendance were some of the local #VegasTech scene, however they also had a few speakers come out from outside the area like Paige Craig CEO & Co-founder of BetterWorks, who gave a great talk on building a passionate community (video above).
Rick Duggan Director of Website Systems & Community Technology & Incubation Services at Zappos who gave a talk based around the VegasTech and the Downtown Project.
Sarah Evans PR. Social Media Correspondent, Birthed Twitter industry chats #journchat#commentz. Her talk gave great examples of how Tracky can help simplify her Online and Personal life.
If you couldn’t make it to Tracky’s launch event at STAGE in the Switch SuperNAP, not to worry. Here is the whole Tracky Launch Demo presentation.
We will hopefully be getting all HD footage of the previous content.
