So you have an amazing idea and the back end of your site works flawlessly, but no one wants to use it because it looks like a 5 year old did your site design.  For a lot of sites the design can make or break a the success of the website.  We all know that most programmers are not the best designers.  Elegant.ly has the answers to your designer needs.  Elegant.ly is a resource that connects designers with startups.  The talent is out there, the problem is how to get it focused on your site and that’s the question that Elegant.ly plans to have the definitive answer to.

Elegant.ly is currently simple, straight to the point and elegant.  However, I hear that there is something bigger being built on the back end that will soon launch.  Since this is a business oriented website I didn’t find it odd that using your LinkedIn Credentials was the only way to sign up.  In the land of Facebook connect that was a bit refreshing.  Once singed in you will be able to either look up talent or offer your designer services.  Currently work in the fields that are offered or requested are: Web development, visual design, icon design, experience/product strategy, identity design/illustration, UX design/wireframes, motion design and user research.

If you are a startup and looking for some designer expertise or vice versa, checkout Elegant.ly and let us know how well the site worked for you.  Did you enjoy the experience?  How fast of a response did you get once submitting an offer/request?
