ResumeBucket.com, a local Internet company that specializes in helping people find jobs with free online resume posting, is holding its first “Get Hired 2.0” — a free event that will provide insight into the current job market for local jobseekers. A panel of top hiring managers and HR professionals from successful companies will be advising attendees on the best practices of getting a job in this unique economy.

“The intention behind Get Hired 2.0 is to increase awareness of the current hiring trends in the SoCal market,” says Josh Stomel, CEO and Founder of ResumeBucket.com. “What better way to do this than by having the top recruiters from the biggest companies around doing Q&A and discussing what they know best?

“We saw a great opportunity to get these hiring professionals up in front of the people that need it most; qualified candidates looking for jobs. It’s a great way to give back to our local community and to help out in these difficult times.”

Topics include the current shifts in hiring candidates, the importance of having a powerful Internet presence and the things you need to know when working with an internal hiring manager versus an outside recruiter.

The event is free and refreshments will be served from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Discussions will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Attendees must RSVP soon using the event site: http://www.resumebucket.com/get-hired-event as space is limited.
