Hands-On: Google Nexus One Phone
TechZulu gets a hands on with the Google Nexus One Phone during CES. I have to admit, it is quite a sexy looking device. All those Droid users out there might not make the switch if you like the keyboard because the Nexus One is all touch. Also, many BlackBerry users still may not find it their cup of tea as well. The Nexus comes sporting the Android 2.1 software. The 2.1 firmware version of the Android operating system adds a few aesthetic changes such as “Live Wallpapers” which are animated in the background and react to different user inputs. It also replaces the “Application Drawer” with a single button which can be pressed to access the list of applications installed on the phone. Still no multi-touch functionality (at least not in the US).
