There has been tons of buzz and anticipation for the Touch Pro 2 from HTC since it was announced.  Not only do you get a full QWERTY keyboard but you also get the joys of a touch screen.  If you are a Blackberry/iPhone user and wanting to switch over to a Windows Mobile phone this might be a good one to look at.  Here are a few quick specs:

  • 3.6 480×800 Screen
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 (Upgradable to 6.5)
  • 528 MHz Processor
  • Unlocked GPS
  • Full Duplex Speakers
  • Full QWERT Keyboard
  • Tilt Screen
  • 3.5 MM Headphone Jack
  • 3.2 MP Camera

Something interesting that I noticed on the device was its new keyboard layout.  It’s similar to a desktop keyboard but mini.  I tried it out and at first it feels a bit strange but you actually begin to develop a good flow once you get going.  It comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 out of the box but is upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5 which is really going to put the Touch Pro 2 to work.  We got a hands on with the HTC Touch Pro 2 while speaking with Keith Nowak.
