Inaugural LA Mixers Event at Republic
The inaugural LA Mixers event kicked off last Wednesday night with hundreds in attendance at Republic in Hollywood. Event organizers wanted to differentiate this event from others by “hand-picking” attendees from their combined, extensive list of contacts. Not in such a way to exclude, but to ensure a group of individuals who are leaders in the high-tech and entertainment industries are in attendance. Companies in attendance included Yahoo, Fox Interactive, MGM, NBC, Google, and Myspace, as well as representatives from ad agencies, startups, tech companies, and more. They are extremely receptive to meeting new people to diversify their events and increase the networking factor. Check out the video below.
