TechZulu has covered Launchpad LA before they opened their doors to entrepreneurs looking for mentorship in the Los Angeles area.  However, they do not allow just anyone to be part of Launchpad.  You must first go through an application process, then be selected to be part of and gain access to some of the brightest minds in Los Angeles.  Founded by Mark Suster and the “… frustration of seeing too many companies receive funding by Northern California VCs and then relocate their teams.”  Launchpad LA initiative is a true collaboration amongst Los Angeles’ best VCs who have a shared interest in seeing a robust tech community continue to thrive in Los Angeles.

On top of the mentorship that these budding startup CEOs receive, Launchpad LA has begun putting together a series of educational meetings and discussions designed to share experiences between serial entrepreneurs and newer CEOs.  Originally exclusive to the members of Launchpad LA, TechZulu, always looking for the best education for startups and entrepreneurs, has teamed up with Launchpad LA to give access to all the aspiring CEOs and startups everywhere. On August 11, 2010 at 5:30pm PST we present “TechStars Meets Launchpad LA” Live.

In this meeting Mark Suster, founder of Launchpad LA and partner at GRP Partners, will lead a discussion with  Brad Feld, co-founder of TechStars and co-founder and Managing Director of Foundry Group, on a wide range of start-ups topics and Lessons to be learned, including what it’s like to start and grow a company outside of Silicon Valley.

Make sure to have your questions ready and tune in Live This Wednesday for what will certainly be an amazing discussion.
