TechZulu and The Entrepreneurship Association at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management are pleased to announce Spotlight: LA Tech Fall. Spotlight: LA Tech is part of a quarterly demo series that will highlight the finest technology entrepreneurship in Southern California. We’re looking for companies with new technology to demonstrate (or better yet, those with upcoming launches they wish to promote among savvy peers).

Last Friday, about 80 business leaders assembled at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, CA, for CallFire’s first ever “un-conference” called Biz2Beach. The invitation-only attendees included founders, business development leaders, and marketing directors from companies big and small, including NBCUniversal, Mobclix, DDB Los Angeles, Airpush, adly, Mobile Roadie, Disney Animation Studios, BetterWorks, and more.

Welcome to the accelerated version of Startup Weekend. I dropped in to check out the contest a few times during the competition and the environment was uplifting and exciting. Brought back fond memories of my weekend at Startup Weekend. walking around seeing coders buried deep into code, focused on completing their product before the clock expired.

TechZulu is pleased to announce that we will be streaming live from the Biz2Beach conference presented by CallFire this Friday August 19 at 2pm PST. For those who may be unfamiliar with the Biz2Beach conference, its a networking conference of thought leaders, innovators, and trendsetters for a day of exchanging ideas.

I decide to start off these series of interviews highlighting some of the female founders and CEOs from around the country with Los Angeles’s own Cameron Kashani Rasouli of CoLoft. I’ve had the honor of knowing Cameron for quite sometime now and she’s a wonderful person. She’s also half of the team that built the ever growing Coloft in Santa Monica, CA. For those that are unfamiliar with the Coloft (you’ll learn a ton soon), it’s the premier co-working spot in the LA area (I say so). Now I’ll let the interview take it from here.

Its Time! Its Time!  The Spotlight is shining down these amazing LA companies! For those who still might be wondering what Spotlight: LA Tech is all about, It’s a screening room for new technology homegrown in our region. It’s a gallery of great entrepreneurship. It’s a toast to those who build and innovate. It’s a gathering of friends and tech enthusiasts of all stripes.

The Spotlight: LA Tech Summer event is turning to be the best one yet! Excellent companies being submitted and most of which I wish could all be part of this amazing night. To help curate and show off the best that LA has to offer we called in a few friends. So with out further ado I present the Spotlight: LA Tech Summer 2011 Judges!

In a sea of generic internship ads seeking ‘candidates with strong work ethic, attention to detail, good analytical skills, and of course, ability to take orders and accept under-compensation’ (okay, maybe not so blatantly on that last one), we stumbled upon quite an interesting tweet:
