Women

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down again with Heather Hiles, the CEO of Pathbrite™. One thing I noticed from our previous interview is that Heather is one smart entrepreneur. For a first-time entrepreneur, she is not only getting it right and getting “base hits”, but she is slugging balls out of the park!

I am the Gogobot Community Manager of West Los Angeles. I represent Gogobot to our devoted user base and develop relationships with hotels, restaurants, social venues, and travel-related businesses. This helps me bring awareness to the Gogobot brand and promote the experience of travelling.

Marissa Mayer has started work at Yahoo! as CEO and Member of the Board of Directors.
Her appointment is expected to spice things up at Yahoo, once a top internet and media firm. She is expected to champion for new products and advance its web technology. This might revive Yahoo’s leading properties like Yahoo! Mail ,Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Mobile

Just like the sky scraping investment banks of Wall Street, the technology industry tends to be a sausage party. A Silicon Valley conference is a room full of suits, with the occasional skirt suite. I decide to start off these series of interviews highlighting some of the female founders and CEOs from around the country with Los Angeles’s own Cameron Kashani Rasouli of CoLoft. I’ve had the honor of knowing Cameron for quite sometime now and she’s a wonderful person. She’s also half of the team that built the ever growing Coloft in Santa Monica, CA. For those that are unfamiliar with the Coloft (you’ll learn a ton soon), it’s the premier co-working spot in the LA area (I say so). Now I’ll let the interview take it from here.
