Cortera: Yelp For Business Credit

According to Jim Swift Cortera is like a Yelp for business credit.  Allowing large and small businesses to rate the payments experiences they have for their customers.  Until Cortera’s launch at DEMO fall 2009 Dun & Bradstreet had been the major player in the business credit market.  Jim, However, says that Dun & Bradstreet fail to address many small business.  So they have built a database that includes not only the large companies but the countless smaller ones that previously have been over looked.

Just like yelp members of the site can use a review system to share their experiences about the companies.  What about monetization you ask?  well they have that covered.  Paid Members can see data about company’s supplier volume and spending budget as well as get monthly reports.
