DreamItAlive | Create Your Virtual Dreamboard
Are you familiar with The Secret and The Law of Attraction? It’s the theory that you can manifest your thoughts into reality. Law of Attraction states that whatever is in your thoughts, be it negative or positive, you’ll draw those same thoughts to you (whether you want to or not). The discipline needed to create your reality is to believe, be aware of your thoughts and have control over them. Being skilled on focusing your thoughts is important. As such, the theory advocates creating vision boards or dreamboards to assist in honing those skills. Countless stories have been told on how people have started to create their vision boards on corksboards or posterboards cutting out images in magazines and having those exact same pictures come to life in just a few weeks.
But if any of you have tried to create your own vision boards or have even thought of doing so, it sometimes doesn’t seem so practical. It can take you hours or days finding the right pictures aligned with your goals. Also, it is not something portable that you can take with you anywhere. Good news is a team of people have and have created a website to solve the problem.
DreamItAlive is a new startup created by the visions of co-founders Anita Rani Dhaliwal, Erin Mester, and Ash Kumra. It’s exactly for the purpose of creating your own personal, virtual Dreamboard, but its much simpler, more efficient, and portable. You can access your Dreamboard anywhere. It will no longer be just a stationary board stuck in your bedroom that you only see in the morning or at night.
All three co-founders BELIEVE in their service’s purpose, each having first-hand experiences of their Dreamboard’s fulfillment. Anita Rani Dhaliwal, the founder of DivaVillage, a site that empowers women, became a true believer and advocate after she pinned pictures on her Dreamboard of cabana huts in Koh Samui, Thailand. A few weeks later, Anita’s brother called her and asked her to join her in his vacation. She initially refused thinking there was no way she can go, being a single mother of 3 kids, her business to run and employees that rely on her. She just didn’t think she can afford it either. Her brother convinced her to find a way as he was already booking a first class ticket for her. She arrived and was welcomed to a fully-paid private cabana in an exclusive resort with unlimited food and premium services. After returning home she looked at her Dreamboard again, and “I realized that I went to the exact location of the pictures on my Dreamboard and didn’t even know it! I became a full-on believer in Dreamboards and the Law of Attraction and created the intention that one day I am going to share this with the world, online!.” Ash Kumra is an inspirational speaker, mentor, founder of DesiYou, Inc. and Chairman of the Board for Tech Coast Venture Network (TCVN). Aligning with his passion to help others, he knew wanted to introduce Dreamboards to the online community in hopes that it will bring successs to many people as it has for him. “There came a time when I wanted to empower the world. I became fascinated with the ‘Law of Attraction’ and realized that the more I manifest,the world will always get the best.” Erin Mester is a veteran in technology, product marketing and business strategy. In her journey of building her own business and co-founding LifeSeed Corporation, she has learned concepts of optimal living, self-discovery and living ones life in the highest potential. She described the oppurtunity of creating DreamItAlive as serendipitous as it allowed her to leverage her skills in technology and her passion for inspiring others. “I see DreamItAlive as a tool to help myself and others constantly achieve higher levels of self mastery and live our best lives to our fullest potential. By creating and achieving dreams, we are forced to grow by learning lessons, stepping out of our comfort zones, mastering our minds and cultivating awareness; all the while pushing for continually higher levels of achievement and success.”
DreamItAlive has truly taken the Dreamboards a step further by creating an online community allowing you to give and get support from like minded individuals wanting to get inspired. The founders hope that releasing your Dreamboard for the world to see will motivate you even more to go out there and take action in achieving your goals.
