You may have heard that Windows Live recently added 20 new web services to their platform, one of which was Facebook. Now you can see Facebook status updates in your “What’s New” feed and your friends can see yours too, assuming you’ve configured the option. But one thing you may not have realized is that you can also now see those Facebook updates in your Windows Live Messenger, too. You see, down at the bottom of the IM window, is a miniaturized version of the “What’s New” feed where individual updates scroll by showing you what your friends are up too. Since Facebook is one of the available web services, you should start seeing Facebook updates right here in your Live Messenger window, too.

If you haven’t already added the new web activities, you can do so from here.
