Oh Craigslist, the place you go to find just about anything you may be looking for and then some.  Well now there is a place startups can go to find just about anything a startup may need and its called Help A Startup Out (HASO).  The categories are made up of “Advisors”, “Feedback Needed”, “Co-founder Wanted”, “Rants And Raves”, “Education”, “Looking for Funding”, “Office Space” and “Services”, and “Startup Jobs”.

Most of the categories on HASO are free to list on, with the exception of jobs, office space and service provider listings. Job postings and service provider listings cost $99 per post, and office space openings come in at $50, which should keep the spammers out.  You can always see the most recent listings and according to the site:

“Twice per month, we select the 10 most interesting listings and email them to the entire startup community of over 40,000 members.”

HASO is the brain child of Chris McCann and Brendan McManus, the co-founders behind the Startup Digest.  Startup Digest, began as an email newsletter, but has quickly morphed into the classified directory available now.

HASO is still in its very early-stages but definitely has the potential to be a valuable resource for startups everywhere.  If you are a startup and have used HASO let us know your experience with it in the comments below.  Now if Craigslist would just hire these guys to re-design their site all would be right in the world.
