Garage sales have always been a spot for either some awesome finds or some other persons unwanted garbage.  So why waste your time and getting your fingers covered in ink on local classifieds. iGarageSale allows you to find the gems without digging through the dirt.  Pulling in information from Craigslist (for now, more sources to come) and using the GPS on your phone gives you the location of the closes garage sale to where you are. Finding Garage sales is not all the app does.  Basically anything that has to do with people wanting to sell their personal belongings such as yard sales, rummage sales, tag sales, attic sales, moving sales, and estate sales are all included. There is a “Pro” and “Lite” version available for download through the app store.  The big difference between the two is that the Pro version allows you to mark down favorites and locate them later.  You can also share a map through Facebook or Twitter and let all your friends know where they can find some hidden treasures.  Another great thing about the Pro version is that you can locate sales by keywords.  Say you want to find someone that is selling a ton of snowboarding gear during the summer so you can get a head start for the winter and grab it at a great price.  Just type in “Snowboarding” and all the sales will appear on your map. This app can definitely come in handy if you recently bought a new home and are trying to save some money on furnishing the house.  I know a family who just did this.  They furnished their entire house from the classifieds and Craigslist and got some great deals and saved a ton of money.  They could have probably saved some time by using a service like iGarageSale.  If you want to give it a try currently the iGarageSale “Lite” version is free and the iGarageSale “Pro” version is on sales for $1.99.
