Know When To Grab The Best Seats With SeatGeek
TechZulu sat down with Russ D’Souza from SeatGeek at TC50 not to long ago to find out exactly what they are all about. Using an algorithm that SeatGeek has developed, the site lets users insert a name of a certain musician or sports team that they want to see and they will in turn receive the best prices for those tickets on the secondary market, and on top of that they even can predict for the user whether the price will decrease or increase. It will also recommend whether a user should buy the tickets now or wait to buy in order to get the best deal.
SeatGeek’s monetization model is based off of affiliate deals as well as selling their own product, SeatGeek Pro, for brokers. Selling for about $2,000 to $10,000 per year, which gives brokers access to the level of forecasting they want, giving them the best time when to buy their tickets for resale.
