Our special and final guest of the year for TZLive was Kamran Pourzanjani CEO of Bestcovery and former CEO and Co-Founder of Pricegrabber.

Last Thursday night, December 2nd, was not your average Thursday night in LA. Not just because it was yet another sold-out Startup Nights but because it was the 6th LA Startup Nights, and was attended by some of LA’s best in the tech space, as well as, marked a turning point for Startup Nights.

If you’re an LA entrepreneur and have not been to Coloft yet, you’re seriously missing out. Located just a few blocks from 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, this co-working space has evolved into the central meeting place for the Los Angeles startup scene. Avesta Rasouli and Cameron Kashani founded Coloft with the hopes of building an incredible environment for creative and technical talent to work, without having to spend an arm and a leg on office space. And, it seems that there’s no better event that highlights this goal than Startup Nights.

Last night we had a completely sold out event filled with startups, entrepreneurs, angles, and VC’s. The panel gave some amazing advice, tips, personal stories and wisdom they have learned over the years over being in the startup community.

TechZulu and CAPLINKED are teaming up to putting together an amazing panel for all the startups and entrepreneurs out there. And if you just so happen to not be in town or are not from Southern California no worries.

Finding great applications and tools is a task within itself. First you need to know exactly what you are looking for, then find out from all the options which is the best suited for you and your startup, and you can’t forget about pricing. You may find a application that seems perfect from the description page, buy it and come to find out it was not what you were looking for.

We would like give a huge thank you to Social Media Week and the supportive startup community here in Los Angeles. StartupDemo was a hit, with a completely sold out (over 400+ tickets sold) venue and tons on the waiting list (all of which where able to participate).

This week TechZulu Live will be streaming from StartupDemo Wednesday Sept. 22, 2010. That’s right folks we are coming at you a day early this week but we will back on schedule the following week.

The moment is finally here. After weeks of StartupDemo submissions we are now ready to announce the participating startup companies for the StartupDemo event being held at Wokano Sept. 22, 2010.

We are just over a week out from StartupDemo and things are shaping up to be an amazing event. Last Friday was the final deadline for all StartupDemo applications to be submitted and we are hard at work selecting the best Startups to Demo during the event.
