TechZulu caught up with Martin Källström, CEO of Swedish start-up Twingly at BlogWorld expo.  Twingly is allowing users to cut out the noise of online search and real-time web so that people spend time on only the specific news and content that matters to them.  Having the ultimate filter would be awesome but how accurate can it really be?

Martin told us that they have setup two feeds to try and solve what is important to you.  The main feed is comprised of “Incoming Stories” that consists of all the selected channel sources you have chosen.  The second is made up of “Popular Stories” which includes ranked content by Twingly’s ranking algorithm and channel subscribers.

Since Twingly is largely dependent on social interactions it may be difficult for them to become a valid filter for users.  Obiviously the more people that use Twingly the better the service will become.

Curated content on the web is something a lot of people are looking for and Twingly is definitely heading toward the right direction.  Twingly Channels Launched a few months back and is still in private beta.  You can ask to be part of their private beta testers and giving it a whirl yourself by visiting there website.
