TechZulu Exclusive: A-List Group Attends Last Minute Causecast Drinkup

Sloane Berrent, from Causecast.org and Pete Cashmore decided that last week’s countless number of events wasn’t enough and decided to put together a CauseCast Flashmashmeet at the MaiKai Lounge on Monday night in Santa Monica. About 20 people showed up for this impromptu happy hour. At the event, we managed to snatch up Ryan Scott, CEO/Investor of Causecast.org for an interview about his vision for social change using media technology for the web. Also, Pete was kind enough to sit down with us for his thoughts on the L.A. scene, the flow of VC money from Silicon Valley and 2008’s web tech predictions. Techzulu exclusive interview below:
