Terms of the deal have not been disclosed but Techcrunch and GigaOM peg the deal at around $25 million. Sphere raised $3.5 million over two rounds of funding. Sphere provides contextually relevant content tools that make connections between text, video, photos and ads. Sphere is currently integrated into over 60,000 leading sites and is live on over 2 Billion monthly article pages across the web. Sphere has a broad range of partners including A-list publishers, micro-publishers, and blogs.
