It’s been just about 2 years since we first came across Powermat at CES and they have come a long way from only providing wireless charging mats. This year Powermat made announcements of a deal with General Motors to wirelessly enable vehicles, to airports, offices, and more of today’s most popular smartphones.

Memolane, a startup Founded by Eric Lagier, is a product of Startup Weekend that is now in private beta and already has raised $2 million in funding. Memolane sets out to “Keep your memories alive” by allowing you to “Capture photos, music, tweets, posts, and view and share your entire online life in one place.”
