Clear Wire could bring WiMax to LA, Poynt brings gas prices

Finally, at Digital Experience Clear Wire showed us their WiMax device (based off of Clear Wire’s 4G mobile broadband network) and explained a little bit about how their device works and what may be in store for Los Angeles hopefuls.

 

 

The folks from Poynt, a Blackberry app with location-based services services that brings users everything from movietimes to restaurants took us through their latest version.

 

Control 4 brings wireless security to your home. One cool function: If someone unsuccessfully enters the password to your home three times, you’ll receive a text message alert.The touchscreen control pad didn’t look too bad either, though we didn’t get any hands-on time with it.
