According to Google web search help page, Google will let users  rank certain sites higher so that your search results match your unique tastes and needs. What does that mean? Well lets say you search for bombings in Gaza and cnn is your favorite news site well you can set cnn as “preferred site” and it will rank higher in google searchs.

Once you’ve added preferred sites, you’ll see the label ‘My preferred site’ next to sites in your search results. Of course you need to be logged in for this to happened and you will also need to have web search enabled on your account.

Does this help You? Let me know.
