Smartphones have made everything we snap a picture of “special”. So much in fact, that several apps have emerged to help the new feel a little bit old. You may have seen all the cool artsy iPhone apps like Instagram that capture a modern picture with that grainy old school edge and color. But, you’re not just using your iPhone on one site. You want your stuff from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Retrollect is an app (iPhone and Android) that adds a little bit of that old school edge to your favorite social media scrap book moments, I mean posts. In fact, it collects them from all three of the aforementioned sites to create a virtual View-Master style disc (remember those?) with your favorites social media moments. It even allows you to share them with friends via a special url that’s created or directly to Facebook and Twitter.  It sends out a cool view-master disc to all your friends and followers.

Adam Sexton, CMO of Border Stylo, a Los Angeles based startup says “Sharing photos is great, but sharing a social media narrative via Retrollect is even better” You can find it in the iTunes App Store or Android Market and it won’t cost you a thing. Retrollect app is one of two applications from Border Stylo a startup with an emphasis on human elements in their apps.
