New York’s first ever Internet Week wrapped up Friday night with an entertaining and always informative event, hosted by Mashable. Mashable’s Exhibit Hall was co-sponsored by 14 showcasing exhibitors, including E.Factor, Rubicon Project, eDopter, CaféMom, NextWeb, and more.  Mashable’s Exhibit Hall took place at Touch and was the only exhibit hall of the week.  It was a free event including appetizers, drinks, good music, and plenty of fun.  The event was a round-up of local NYC web start-ups, investors, entrepreneurs, Web 2.0 industry insiders, and those looking for the scoop of the who’s who and what’s hot in the digital world.

TechZulu caught up with Mashable’s CEO, Pete Cashmore, for his take on what the latest happenings are in the digital world.  He talked a little about Mashable’s site changes, although ever so discreetly.  He also mentioned what he believes are the big changes taking place moving forward.
