This morning Dustin Moskovitz announced that Asana had got a $28 million investment from Peter Thiel and Founders Fund. Welcoming Thiel to their Board of Directors.
Moskovitz said they have admired and respected Founders Fund and loved their commitment to building teams to improve lives.

Microsoft in late June announced to have acquired social network for enterprises Yammer at $ 1.2 billion.But the deal has been fully completed today.
According to the Jared Spataro Senior Director, Office Division, Microsoft in a blog post the firm had met all the requirements regarding the acquisition.

Telephone booths will be brought back to life again, thanks to a new city program installing Wi-Fi in telephone booths across the city.
The pay phones will be fitted with top range antennas to enable the service be accessible to users in a 300 feet radius. The service is being installed by Van Wagner Communications at $2,000.

On Tuesday PayPal acquired card.io, a smartphone credit card scanner.
According to Hill Ferguson, VP Global Product PayPal, card.io will integrate its credit card information capturing technology to PayPal’s mobile wallet. The payment details were not made public.

AT&T announced their own Mobile Share plans this morning. Customers will soon have more options in choosing the plan that’s right for them and their mobile devices. With new AT&T Mobile Share plans, available in late August, new and existing customers can share a single bucket of data across smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices.

Microsoft is set to buy multi-user large display touch screens this summer the firms announced Monday.
And though the terms of the deal are not yet public Microsoft has big plans with the acquisition. Kurt DelBene, president, Office Division for Microsoft in a statement said; “The acquisition of PPI allows us to draw on our complementary strengths, and we’re excited to accelerate this market evolution”.

According to Dow Jones, sources close to Facebook say the giant social network is reportedly working on a job board through a third party firm to be launched this summer.
While Facebook has not officially announced anything, if it releases a job board, there will be a shift in the online recruitment sector.
