Launched today Tradesy, a new website and mobile app hopes to unlock the hidden value of clothing resale. Tradesy is a peer-to-peer marketplace where women buy and sell new and gently used apparel and accessories. Tradesy’s mission is help women get more of the fashion that makes them look and feel great, while spending less.
Marissa Mayer has started work at Yahoo! as CEO and Member of the Board of Directors.
Her appointment is expected to spice things up at Yahoo, once a top internet and media firm. She is expected to champion for new products and advance its web technology.This might revive Yahoo’s leading properties like Yahoo! Mail ,Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Mobile
Just like the sky scraping investment banks of Wall Street, the technology industry tends to be a sausage party. A Silicon Valley conference is a room full of suits, with the occasional skirt suite. So when I heard about Women 2.0 pitch and technology competition at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, I couldn’t help but feel like it might be a hall of crickets with a few passionate women warming the front row. I was overwhelmingly mistaken.

I decide to start off these series of interviews highlighting some of the female founders and CEOs from around the country with Los Angeles’s own Cameron Kashani Rasouli of CoLoft. I’ve had the honor of knowing Cameron for quite sometime now and she’s a wonderful person. She’s also half of the team that built the ever growing Coloft in Santa Monica, CA.
