Technicopia the producers of Gwabbit had one of the most effective on-stage demos at DEMO 09. We spoke with the CEO Tod Miller which gave us a background of his story on why he decided to develop Gwabbit and some sage advice for up and coming entrepreneurs.

Gwabbit allows you to grab contact info that appears anywhere in email messages, instantly — and quickly get that data into your Outlook contacts, with just a click.  Gwabbit scans e-mails as they arrive and notifies you if it finds non-duplicate contact information.

I tested the product and the plug-in worked quickly and efficiently when the e-mail contained traditionally formatted contact information. It did have some trouble with titles just before the company name and it made the whole line into the company name.

Its still way easier to correct those errors than to cut and past every line into the contact info.  It is a bit steep for a first release at $19.95 but how important is your time?  It can obviously save you tons of time and if you want to give it a go there is a 14-day trial version.  Do you think its worth the price?
