LA Web Application Developers Meetup ready for Primetime
If you’re into tech and didn’t attend Tuesday night’s L.A. Web Application Meetup held at Fox Interactive’s Building in Beverly Hills, then you’ve missed out. Last night’s MeetUp.com event was the largest turnout for organizer Will Jessup’s January meetup. According to Will, over 90 people attended the event. The event showcased L.A.’s top talents in the development community where presenters were given 5-10 minutes to present their next big thing on the web. On deck for last night’s event were:
1) Ben Sandofsky GIT, a next version CVS Open Source Version Control system.
2) Blake Senftner Flixor, a 3D rendering software that allows people customize videos by taking pictures of themselves and embedding them into the videos for playback animation.
3) Jonathan Gray Streamy, is a social news aggregator that makes sharing information as easy as drag and drop.
4) Eduardo Sciammarella Processing, an electronic sketchbook for development ideas. It allows you to easily create prototyping for any type of development ideas.
Sounds cool? Well if you did miss it here’s your chance to get a glimpse of what happened. We’ll have the video for you from the event and exclusive interviews with Will and the presenters later. Check back soon.
Update: The video is ready :)
