Microsoft’s Code Trip Tour Bus Goes RedBull
Last Friday night, the buzz around town in L.A. was about Community Next’s pre-party at the Air Conditioned Supper Club. But did you hear about Microsoft’s Code Trip Tour going on about five minutes down the road at the Redbull’s office? For those of you that don’t know, the Microsoft Code Trip Tour is a 2 month, 10 state, and 29 city west coast road trip tour connecting the Microsoft Developer Community. The Redbull’s office was the Code Trip Tour’s 17th city. TechZulu was invited to meet up with the Code Trip roadies to explore what happens when you mix Microsoft and Redbull together. When we pulled up in the parking lot, the red building appeared like a warehouse that manufactures motherboards. However, this was not the case, because once inside, it was a gamers’ dream vacation. The first thing we noticed was the “ginormous” ramp that could be found only in a Tony Hawk’s video game, a game room theater that even your mother could love, and all the Redbull you can drink! The standouts in attendance were Microsoft’s Developer Platform Evangelists, Lynn Langit and Woody Pewitt. Check out the video below.
Next time, let’s not judge a building by its cover. :)
