While the tech savvy may be familiar with using file sharing cloud computing solutions, general consumers have found it difficult to remotely access a second computer. Enter iTwin, a company offering a simple plug-and-play solution using just an Internet connection and USB drive. Billing itself as the ‘cable-less cable, iTwin is squarely aimed at the mass market. Person A plugs one end of the USB stick into their computer, then gives the other half to person B to seamlessly connect their machines. The company ultimately aims to disrupt portable storage by addressing issues like limited file capacity and security risks. iTwin will retail for approximately $99 and will be available for purchase in Q1 2010 through the company website.
