I work in Business Development at one of the major film studios in Hollywood, and we are always looking at the ambitious and potentially game-changing startups that are at the intersection of digital media and tech – I’d love to come to this event and connect with some great entrepreneurs and companies, to offer my help in any way I can!
    Thanks TZ

Hey I was with the winning team at Startup Weedkend LA and then I won the following week at AT&T Hackathon for a healhcare app. Besides that, I have been a movie producer and an award winning filmmaker in Hollywood for the last 5 years. I would love to attend!

  • It’s all happening. And it’s happening here in our backyard. If you build it, they will come. In an effort to dwarf the Bay, let’s take the beachhead. And I know we’re all glitzy and keeping up with the Kardashians…but seriously…let’s use this event as an opportunity to brainstorm a better nickname for ourselves – yes? We want to be there interviewing everyone to see their Silicon Beach branding busters. Techs on the Beach? Silicon Strand? What’s your take…So excited to meet everyone!

Accessibility is often overlooked, but paying attention to some basic routines will make your product usable by a vast largely untapped ecconomic powerhouse, people who depend on developers and designers for a little help to perceive the awesome along with everyone else.

I am doing outreach to the developer community with my Meetup group:

I will spread the word about accessibility at Silicon Beach @ USC.

    • Congrats Joseph!  Please send us an email to and we will send you the link link to claim your ticket.

  • Emencee

Hi, we’re working on a startup that will bring financial education and sophisticated financial tools in the hands of the everyday investor.   That alone we think will go a long way towards reducing abuse, fraud and extortionate selling more than any regulation can.

This sounds like a great place to connect with the LA startup community, get different perspectives and learn from the local entreprenuers.

    • Hey Emencee,

Thanks for the reply.  It seems that registration is closed but if you send us an email to with all your information we will try and get you on the list.
