TOMS Shoes Steps into Tech
No child will go without shoes! That’s the mission of TOMS shoes. When you buy a pair of shoes from TOMS shoes, the company will donate a pair of shoes to a deserving child in 3rd world countries. We were invited to last night’s charity event at the Buffalo Club in Santa Monica by Olivia Kuhn-Lloyd (Cause+Capitalism), one of the event organizers. Because it’s LA, we were not surprised to see that there were tech and VC people that showed up to support the cause. After the event, we picked up great interviews from Kandice (Toms Shoes), Steve Beauregard (Regard Ventures), and a few others.
