Tools To Life
I’m fairly in to the whole “self-help” concept. I have bought several books about changing my life and my perspectives with the intention of actually reading them, only to find that in time they end up in a lonely pile on my bookshelf. It’s not that the desire is not there…but for someone who is constantly on the go, with handbag space in short supply, lugging a book around with no one to bounce my ideas off of can get old really fast.
So, when I heard about Tools For Life from a previous TechZulu sit down interview, I was extremely excited to learn that that they offer interactive, (online) web based, self-help programs free of charge! This means, no more heavy books to lug and no more money spent on things I don’t use. Perhaps best of all; not only can I interact and gain feedback and learn from others undergoing similar experiences, with the help of the internet on my phone…Tools For Life goes everywhere I go!
When attending Twiistup 2.0 at the Viceroy Hotel, I was fortunate enough to interview Devlyn Steele, creator of Tools to Life and winner of this year’s award for best “Showoff.” I was even more excited to see that a project that is utilizing social media in order to create such powerful and positive change, has been elevated and given special attention.
