City Sourced Expands to Android and Blackberry Users
Local Southern California Startup City Sourced expands their civic issue reporter application to Android and Blackberry users today. For those who may not know about city sourced, they are a real time mobile civic engagement platform. City Sourced provides a free platform empowering residents to identify civic issues (public safety, quality of life, & environmental issues, etc.) and report them to city hall for quick resolution. You can also checkout one of the first interviews we did with Jason Kieselfounder of City Sourced during Their debut at TechCrunch 50 to learn more.
City Sourced has recently made their website available to all as well. From the website you can find and report civic issues in addition to their mobile apps. You are also able to create a watch zone (geo fence) around your block to keep track of your neighborhood.
Congrats to the City Sourced team they have been dominating it in the local government scene. Checkout the app and let us know how you like it and how it would be of use to your local community in the comments below.
