Everything.me | Search for Anything and Get Everything
Reinventing mobile search is exactly was Everything.me has done. Serial entrepreneurs Ami Ben-David, Rami Kasterstein and Joe Simon are the co-founders of Everything.me, a startup based in San Francisco and Israel. It’s a new HTML5 browser-based app that empowers users by putting everything they need at their fingertips. Delivering a very visual, and recognizable experience with background images and easy to spot icons when doing a search. Definitely a better experience then looking at a page of links with tiny font.
We had a chance to chat with Cathy Brooks evangelist and head of strategic relationships over at Everything.me to give us the low down. With Everything.me the search is not only great looking but has the brains as well. Doing a quick search for The Lorax, it will asking you whether you are searching for the book or for the movie. Or maybe looking for Screw Driver, Everything.me would ask if you are looking for the tool or the drink. Based on your behavior and your searches, it will also begin to post most relevant information for you at the top. Do a lot of movie searches and you use Nextflix a lot, Nextflix will begin to float the top of your movie searches.
The Everything.me team plans to push out native apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 in the future. For now, as long as you have a iOS or Android device you can add Everything.me to your home screen to give it a try.
