I decide to start off these series of interviews highlighting some of the female founders and CEOs from around the country with Los Angeles’s own Cameron Kashani Rasouli of CoLoft. I’ve had the honor of knowing Cameron for quite sometime now and she’s a wonderful person. She’s also half of the team that built the ever growing Coloft in Santa Monica, CA. For those that are unfamiliar with the Coloft (you’ll learn a ton soon), it’s the premier co-working spot in the LA area (I say so). Now I’ll let the interview take it from here.

Its Time! Its Time!  The Spotlight is shining down these amazing LA companies! Big news in the tech gaming industry with Zynga’s official filing of their S-1 with the SEC. So America’s birthday is right around the corner and most of us will be outside enjoying the summer weather, barbecuing and spending time with our friends and family. Here are some geeky websites, apps and gadgets that should come in useful this holiday weekend.

Google, they’ve cracked a nut here. With Wave being an experiment, and Buzz being a dead duck from the get go, Google Plus (Google+) is actually a usable, integrated, complete-feeling product released this week, and it’s pretty damn good. I have my suspicions on whether or not it will stick; but I’m leaning more toward “yes” than “no”, unlike Buzz and Wave.

RescueTime, the makers of a web-based time management tool, has come up with another service aimed to help companies find potential new employees. Touted as the “CarFax report for potential new employees”, RescueTime Introductions promises not to find a candidate that is 100% perfect for a position. Rather, it narrows down the field to a number of potential hires based on a broad range of factors.

Let’s face it, a lot of us working professionals are extremely busy these days. Long hours at the office, quick work out at the gym and a few errands before stores close and before you know it, you haven’t eaten yet. Or you meet up with friends for some drinks after work and didn’t get a chance to pick up your clothes from the dry cleaners.

The Spotlight: LA Tech Summer event is turning to be the best one yet! Excellent companies being submitted and most of which I wish could all be part of this amazing night. To help curate and show off the best that LA has to offer we called in a few friends. So with out further ado I present the Spotlight: LA Tech Summer 2011 Judges!

Andrew Zarian has always had a passion for broadcasting, and after being laid off decided he would follow his passion and make a carrer out of it.
