TONIGHT: Brock Pierce & GoCoin Host Oakland Mayoral Candidate, Bryan Parker
Tonight bitcoin evangelist Brock Pierce is introducing Oakland mayoral candidate Bryan Parker to the Los Angeles tech community during a fundraiser at the prestigious 41 Ocean Club in Santa Monica.
The evening will feature a talk by Pierce about bitcoin technology, and a chance to meet Bryan Parker who shares, “Bitcoin is a tool we can use to dissolve inequality, be it social or economic, and facilitate change for whole communities.” 
The event starts at 6:30pm and is open to the public. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased with bitcoins through an integration with GoCoin, a digital currency payment processor.
Pierce, a 15-time entrepreneur best known for pioneering the market for digital currency, is a featured panelist on TechZulu’s Annual Startup Forecast panel next Tuesday.
