If you are a student and want to mingle with the Twiistup big wigs, Rubicon Project wants to help you get there.  Twiistup, the biggest Southern California technology event is the opportune event for you to meet all of those internet all-stars you dreamed of meeting.  And so the Rubicon Project Twiistup Scholarship was born to give two students access to SoCal’s premiere event that celebrates achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship. The agenda includes two days of panels, Q&A’s and start-up pitches.

Here are some details and rules you must follow:

As part of your scholarship, you’ll receive:

  • One all-access Twiistup pass (Value $300)
  • A swanky Rubicon Project shirt and laptop case
  • One Flip video camcorder
  • A gas card ($25) to cover your travel expenses
  • A Starbucks card ($15) to cover your caffeine and snack needs
  • Participation in the next Pay it Forward event

All you have to do is be our reporters and capture and share the interesting moments at Twiistup so others can learn through your experience.

Rules:

  • Attend both days of the event
  • Rep Rubicon Project by rocking the t-shirt and the bag
  • Live tweet interesting bits of wisdom as you see fit (with the correct hashtags, of course)
  • Write two blog posts for the Rubicon Project website. It can be about a panel, people you met, helpful business advice or something that inspired you, as long as it ties to back to entrepreneurship and/or innovation.
