Mark Zuckerberg made an unannounced visit to Lagos, Nigeria last week on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. His arrival was a much appreciated surprise to the tech leaders in the booming African country as it is still in its early yet thriving stages of creating a successful tech and entrepreneurial hub.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the annual Clinton Global Initiative founded by former president, Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. A Futurist Conference, AI & The Singularity will be held this Saturday, September 20, from 9:30am-5:00pm at Piedmont Veterans Hall, 401 Highland Avenue, in Piedmont, California. The 17th Annual Milken Institute Global Conference wrapped up last month at the luxurious Beverly Hilton Hotel. SoCal Code Camp is at it again, getting together an amazing pool of experts to speak in front of fellow developers and developers-in-training here in Los Angeles. The event runs for two days from November 9th to 10th on the USC campus. This fun conference will have over 85 sessions on various technologies including Web Development, Mobile, Ruby , Javascript and more. And it’s not just strictly coding, they will also have a few sessions dedicated to Design and even Project Management.
