Its that time of the year again folks and Silicon Beach Fest is about to be in full swing! For those who may be unfamiliar (and I don’t know how you are not!) Silicon Beach Fest is LA’s original and largest startup tech entertainment festival, celebrating the burgeoning tech scene in Los Angeles. Silicon Beach uniquely features startup and Hollywood entertainment speakers at panels, parties, hackathon, demo day, startup showcase, and more events, June 19-22, 2013 in Los Angeles.
Summer is nearly upon us, so getting in shape is on everyone’s list right now. Paul Kim may be able to help you with that. He is a former body builder and a certified trainer. He created the Alpha Trainer, fitness app with an extensive customizable training program and was released on both the iOS and Android platforms earlier this May. Paul Kim is a man who was able to merge his love for fitness with his tech savvy abilities. We caught up with Paul to see his views on LA tech, fitness, and his Alpha Trainer app.
ParkMe has launched its Android app in a move that will enable motorists using Android devices easily locate parking spaces near them.
The team announced, “Park your car smarter and faster with ParkMe, the world’s largest and most accurate database of parking info. Download our free award-winning parking app, now available on Android to find the cheapest, closest parking around!”
As creators, developers, and hackers, we love a good challenge and even more so with time restrictions. We also enjoy spending weekends in front of the computer working on new projects or building the next mobile app. It’s our fuel. Myself included.
