Yesterday was a great day for the Namesake community, their iPhone app dropped in the App Store. For those of you not familiar with the Namesake community it is a “community for real conversation. It’s easy to find the people and topics that make life interesting — discover new people, build trust and improve your life.”

Spotlight: LA Tech is part of a quarterly demo series that will highlight the finest technology entrepreneurship in Southern California. We’re looking for companies with new technology to demonstrate (or better yet, those with upcoming launches they wish to promote among savvy peers).
I am currently at the annual VC in the OC program held in Irvine CA by OCTANe, an organization that connects people and ideas to resources and capital in Orange County.
